Managing your FlopHero subscription ensures you have the right plan for your playing stakes while maintaining uninterrupted access to analysis features. This guide covers billing management, subscription modifications, and account security to help you optimize your FlopHero experience.

Upgrading and Downgrading plans

1. When to Upgrade

Consider upgrading when your playing stakes exceed your current plan’s coverage.

  • Navigate to Account Settings in your FlopHero dashboard
  • Select “Subscription” from the menu
  • Choose your new plan and confirm the change
  • Pay the prorated difference for the current billing period
  • New features activate immediately

2. When to Downgrade

Consider downgrading when your playing stakes have decreased.

  • Access the same Subscription section in Account Settings
  • Select your new plan
  • Confirm the change (takes effect at next billing cycle)
  • Continue using current plan features until the transition date
  • Receive prorated credit for unused portion

Prorated billing

FlopHero calculates prorated charges based on your billing cycle. Upgrades charge the difference immediately, while downgrades provide credits for your next billing period.

Payment & Billing

FlopHero makes it simple to manage your payments, plans, and billing. Choose monthly or annual billing, update your payment method, and switch or cancel plans, all within your account.

Billing Overview

  • Billing cycles depend on your plan; monthly or annual. Annual subscribers receive a high % discount.
  • The subscription fee will be charged to your chosen payment method on the date shown in your account.

Accepted Payment Methods & Automatic Billing

  • We accept major credit and debit cards, PayPal and Crypto are available upon request.
  • Failed or missing payments will result in permanent suspension of access to paid features until payment is resolved.

Updating Your Payment Method

  • You can update your account’s payment method anytime via your Account → Subscription → Update Details.

Subscription Renewal

Automatic renewal

All FlopHero subscriptions automatically renew to ensure uninterrupted service. You’ll receive email reminders 7 days and 1 day before renewal.

Renewal notifications

  • 7 Days Before: Renewal reminder with current plan details
  • 1 Day Before: Final reminder with payment confirmation
  • Day Of: Successful payment confirmation and receipt

Cancellation policy

You can cancel your subscription at any time:

  • Access Account Settings > Subscription
  • Select “Cancel Subscription”
  • Confirm cancellation
  • Continue using FlopHero until your current billing period ends
  • No charges occur after cancellation

Important: Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain full access until that date.

Privacy and security

  • No selling of personal data
    Flop Hero does not sell your personal information. It’s only shared with trusted third-party service providers (like payment processors, cloud hosts, analytics, and support tools), all of whom are contractually required to protect your data and use it solely for the purposes outlined.
  • How your data Is used
    Your data powers the service enabling account setup, hand analysis, training, and support interactions. It’s also analyzed (in aggregate) to improve features, combat fraud, and optimize the service experience.
  • International data transfers
    As a global platform, FlopHero may transfer data internationally, including to the U.S. and other jurisdictions. Safeguards like EU-standard contractual clauses and adequacy decisions are employed to protect your data.
  • Data retention periods
    FlopHero retains different types of data for different durations:
    • Account Data: as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward
    • Usage Data: typically 2–3 years (with anonymization after 6 months)
    • Payment Data: as long as legally required
    • Support Communication: as needed for customer service and legal compliance.
  • GDPR & CCPA Rights
    • GDPR (EU users): You can access, correct, delete, or restrict your data; request portability; or object to processing. Contact Noorul Ilahi at [email protected], with a 30-day response timeline.
    • CCPA (California users): You can request the right to know, delete, correct information, or opt out of sharing (though FlopHero does not sell your data). Contact [email protected] with the subject “California Privacy Request.

    Flop Hero employs robust technical and organizational measures:
    • Encryption in transit and at rest
    • Strong authentication and access control
    • Regular security assessments and intrusion monitoring

    • Trained staff operating under “need-to-know” policies
  • Privacy‑by‑design & internal compliance (data protection policy)
    Flop Hero follows core principles of data minimization, purpose limitation, transparency, accuracy, and limited storage. These are integrated at every stage of product development, under direct supervision of a designated Privacy Point of Contact, currently Noorul Ilahi, who reports to the CRO.
  • Vendor & processor oversight
    Partners such as AWS, Stripe, PayPal, Google Analytics, and Zoho are engaged under strict contractual data protections (including EU Standard Contractual Clauses), PCI‑DSS compliance, encryption, and retention limits.
  • Incident response & transparency
    Flop Hero maintains a clear incident response protocol with detection, containment, investigation, and notification steps documented and with roles defined for the Privacy POC, development team, legal counsel, and executive leadership.
