Solver coverage and limitations

HERO.Precision® is built to analyze the most common Pot-Limit Omaha (PLO) cash games with accuracy and speed. While it covers a wide range of popular scenarios, there are some areas where the solver’s support is limited or still in development. This article explains what types of PLO games and situations HERO.Precision® currently handles, where it falls short, and what we’re working on next.

What HERO.Precision® covers now

Our main focus is on 6-Max PLO cash games, since those are the formats most players encounter regularly. Right now, HERO.Precision® provides detailed solutions for:

* **Game format:** 6-Max PLO cash games

* **Stack depths:** From 20 big blinds (bb) up to 200bb

* **Bet sizing:** Common preflop and postflop bet sizes used in typical games

We’ve pre-solved millions of common spots within these settings, so you can get instant feedback on your uploaded hands. For scenarios outside those pre-solved ranges, the solver runs real-time calculations to give you on-demand GTO solutions. What it doesn’t cover yet

There are a few areas where HERO.Precision® isn’t quite there yet:

* **Uncommon stack depths:** Stacks deeper than 200bb or shorter than 20bb aren’t fully supported at this time. * **Tournament play:** The solver doesn’t factor in tournament-specific elements like the Independent Chip Model (ICM), so it’s better suited for cash game analysis. For tips on tournament strategy that go beyond HERO.Precision®, see Tournament vs Cash Game Strategy. * **Other PLO variants:** We don’t support 5-Card PLO, 6-Card PLO, or PLO8 (Hi-Lo) yet. * **Multi-way pots:** While the solver can handle many multi-way spots, extremely complex multi-way pots may have limited analysis available.

If your hand falls outside our current coverage, the platform will let you know that a GTO solution isn’t available.

What’s next on our roadmap

We’re focused on making HERO.Precision® more useful for a wider range of PLO players. Based on user feedback and community needs, here’s what we’re working on:

* Adding tournament support, including ICM and tournament-specific factors * Expanding to cover 5-Card PLO and other popular variants * Increasing coverage for deeper and shorter stack depths
