Feature requests and feedback

Feature Requests and Feedback

Your feedback helps shape FlopHero’s future. Every idea or comment you share contributes to building better tools for PLO players. This guide explains how to submit feature requests, share general feedback, and stay informed about new developments.

How to Submit Feature Requests

We welcome ideas from all users. Here’s how you can share them:

Discord (Recommended)
Join our Discord server at https://discord.gg/XZJ957eK9 and post your ideas in the feature-requests channel.

Email
For private or detailed proposals, email hello@flophero.com with your feature idea and any supporting details.

In-app feedback
An in-app feedback tool is in development to make submitting requests even easier from within FlopHero.

What Makes a Good Feature Request

Clear, specific feedback helps us evaluate ideas faster. When submitting, try to include:

  • Describe the problem: What are you trying to do, and why don’t current features solve it?
  • Propose a solution: Explain how the feature might work from your perspective.
  • Explain the value: Who benefits, and how would it improve the experience?
  • Provide examples: Mention other tools or concrete situations if relevant.

For more advice, see the guide How to Get the Most from FlopHero Support.

How We Prioritize Features

We consider four main factors when deciding what to build next:

  • User demand: Frequently requested features get higher priority.
  • Alignment with FlopHero’s mission: We focus on making PLO study easier and faster.
  • Technical feasibility: Some ideas are quick wins; others require deeper development.
  • Impact: Features that help the most users or create major learning improvements move to the top.

Even if a specific idea isn’t implemented, it may inspire related updates.
To learn more about how development decisions are made, read How FlopHero Updates Work.

Sharing General Feedback

Not all feedback needs to be a feature request. We value general impressions too.

  • What’s working: Tell us what you like. It helps us know what to keep improving.
  • What’s confusing: Point out unclear or hard-to-use parts of the platform.
  • Bug reports: If something doesn’t work, report it through support so we can fix it quickly.

If you’re unsure where to report or share, check the guide Getting Help and Reporting Issues.

Staying Updated on Development

You can follow our progress through multiple channels:

  • Roadmap updates: Posted on Discord and via email with previews of upcoming features.
  • Release notes: Shared on Discord, social media, and through in-app notifications.
  • Community discussions: Join ongoing talks in Discord to see what’s being considered.

Beta Testing Opportunities

We often invite users to test features before public release. Beta testers get early access and help fine-tune performance.

If you’re interested, let us know on Discord or email hello@flophero.com. We’ll reach out when new testing spots open.

Why Some Requests Can’t Be Implemented

While we review every suggestion, not all can move forward. Reasons include:

  • Technical limitations: Some ideas would require major system changes.
  • Scope creep: Certain features might add unnecessary complexity.
  • Resource constraints: We focus on high-impact improvements first.

If we can’t build a request, we’ll explain why and suggest possible alternatives.
