Trainer - Filters

Use filters to target the preflop spots you want to practice. Set the action, your seat, and the opponent’s seat. You’ll drill the situations you face most and fix leaks faster.

What Trainer Filters do

Filters control which preflop scenarios appear. You can focus by:

  • Preflop action
  • Hero position
  • Villain position

This turns random practice into targeted work on the spots that matter.

Adjust filters like stake size and positions to target specific preflop scenarios during training.

Preflop Action

Choose the situation type:

  • Any: All preflop spots for broad practice
  • Unopened: You act first—work on opening ranges by seat
  • vs RFI: You face a single raise—train 3-bets, calls, and folds
  • vs RFI + Call: Multiway after a raise and a call—practice squeezes and calls
  • vs 3Bet: You opened and now face a 3-bet—drill 4-bets, calls, and folds
  • vs 4Bet: You 3-bet and now face a 4-bet—work on 5-bets, calls, and folds

Hero Position

Pick your seat: Any, EP, MP, CO, BTN, SB, BB.

Use this to isolate weak seats. Example: set SB to work on a tough out-of-position spot.

Villain Position

Pick the opponent’s seat or leave Any. This is useful for specific heads-up pots.

Example: set Hero = BTN and Villain = BB to drill button vs big blind.

Build focused drills

Combine filters to shape exact scenarios:

  • vs 3Bet + BTN vs BB to practice button openings facing blind 3-bets
  • Unopened + EP vs Any to refine early position opens

Match your level

  • Beginner: Start with Unopened and Any position
  • Intermediate: Target leaks, for example Hero = SB
  • Advanced: Work on vs 4Bet or narrow seat matchups you see

Change filters mid-session

Click Configure at any time to adjust settings without restarting your study. Aim for spots that are challenging but still learnable.

The more specific your filters, the faster you’ll fix the leaks that cost you the most.
