FlopHero's Customer Journey

Getting the most out of FlopHero means knowing how it fits into your poker study routine. This guide breaks down the full learning cycle - from uploading hands to training and long-term improvement - so you can use the platform efficiently and sharpen your PLO game.

How the FlopHero workflow works

FlopHero runs on a simple cycle: Play → Analyze → Train → Improve. Each stage builds on the last, turning your real sessions into data-driven insights you can act on.

It’s not about random study. It’s about closing the loop between your game and your training.

Stage 1: Upload and analyze your hands

Your journey starts with uploading your hand histories from recent sessions. These files are the foundation for analysis.

FlopHero’s engine reviews every action in the background and identify where you diverge from GTO solutions. If you consistently overfold or misplay certain spots, the report will highlight those trends clearly.

Tip: Make sure your hand histories are clean and formatted correctly to avoid upload errors. See Upload Your First Session for full details.

Stage 2: Review and understand the data

Once your analysis is complete, review the key stats - GTO ΔEV, EV Loss %, and hand-level breakdowns. These numbers show where your biggest leaks are and which situations cost you the most EV.

Start by filtering hands with the largest deviations. Review those first before moving to smaller errors. See Understanding Your First Analysis to learn how to interpret these metrics.

Stage 3: Train and apply adjustments

Use the Trainer tools to practice specific spots where you’ve been losing EV. The platform lets you replay those hands, test new lines, and build muscle memory for better decisions.

Training with your own mistakes creates faster improvement than generic drills. You’re fixing the exact leaks identified by your analysis.

Stage 4: Track progress and repeat

FlopHero’s Reports dashboard tracks your GTO ΔEV over time, letting you measure real improvement. Each upload adds another layer to your database - helping you see trends, track progress, and confirm that your study work is paying off.

Once you complete the cycle, go back to the tables, gather new data, and repeat. Consistency turns insights into skill.

What to expect

FlopHero won’t make you a crusher overnight. It’s a tool, not a magic solution. You still need to put in the work: upload sessions, review mistakes, study ranges, and practice decisions.

But if you use it consistently, you’ll improve faster than you would on your own. You’ll see exactly where you’re losing EV and how to fix it. Over time, that adds up to a better win rate and bigger profits.
