Feature requests and feedback

Your feedback helps shape FlopHero’s future. Every idea or comment you share contributes to building better tools for PLO players. This guide explains how to submit feature requests, share general feedback, and stay informed about new developments.

How to Submit Feature Requests

We welcome ideas from all users. Here’s how you can share them.

Discord is the recommended method. Join our Discord server and post your ideas in the ideas-requests channel. Other users can vote and comment, helping us gauge interest and refine suggestions together.

For private or detailed proposals, email hello@flophero.com with your feature idea and any supporting details.

An in-app feedback tool is in development to make submitting requests even easier from within FlopHero.

What Makes a Good Feature Request

Clear, specific feedback helps us evaluate ideas faster. When submitting, try to include these elements.

Describe the problem. What are you trying to do, and why don’t current features solve it?

Propose a solution. Explain how the feature might work from your perspective.

Explain the value. Who benefits, and how would it improve the experience?

Provide examples. Mention other tools or concrete situations if relevant.

The more context you provide, the better we can understand and evaluate your request.

How We Prioritize Features

We consider four main factors when deciding what to build next.

User demand matters. Frequently requested features get higher priority.

Alignment with FlopHero’s mission is important. We focus on making PLO study easier and faster.

Technical feasibility plays a role. Some ideas are quick wins, while others require deeper development.

Impact determines priority. Features that help the most users or create major learning improvements move to the top.

Even if a specific idea isn’t implemented, it may inspire related updates.

Sharing General Feedback

Not all feedback needs to be a feature request. We value general impressions too.

Tell us what’s working. It helps us know what to keep improving.

Point out what’s confusing. If something is unclear or hard to use, we want to know.

Report bugs. If something doesn’t work, report it through support so we can fix it quickly.

Your perspective helps us understand how FlopHero is actually being used and where we can improve.

Staying Updated on Development

You can follow our progress through multiple channels.

Roadmap updates are posted on Discord and via email with previews of upcoming features.

Release notes are shared on Discord, social media, and through in-app notifications.

Community discussions happen in Discord where you can see what’s being considered.

Stay connected to see what’s coming next and share your thoughts on proposed changes.

Why Some Requests Can’t Be Implemented

While we review every suggestion, not all can move forward. Reasons include technical limitations that would require major system changes, scope creep where features might add unnecessary complexity, or resource constraints that force us to focus on high-impact improvements first.

If we can’t build a request, we’ll explain why and suggest possible alternatives when available.

Your Voice Matters

FlopHero exists to help PLO players improve their game. Your insights guide how we evolve and what we prioritize next.

Whether it’s a major new feature or a small quality-of-life tweak, your perspective makes a difference. Keep sharing your thoughts and help us make FlopHero the most effective PLO study platform available.
